What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a funnel marketing strategy? Why should online marketers create one?

It's a strategy for marketing that you use to convince potential customers to buy your product. It's a sales process in which a visitor comes to your blog to seek information that could solve a problem. You can build a relationship by using specific tools.

This will help you better understand the needs of each visitor. This will allow you to give the most accurate information to all your visitors. The visitor will feel more confident purchasing your products when you have earned their trust. The visitor then becomes a customer.

At some point the majority of customers become very loyal customers who are willing to purchase just about every item that you promote on your site. A marketing funnel includes all of the steps required to convert a regular visitor to your website into a loyal client and purchase every item you offer.

This is the ultimate goal of any internet marketer. A well-designed funnel will achieve this very quickly.

Your efforts to market are capturing the attention of people, and bringing them to your funnel. When they fill out your PERSONAL questionnaire, they are automatically entered into the funnel. Because nobody is going to opt-in on your business' lead capture page. I've declared it "personal". They want to be a leader and not a business.

The page for lead capture is where they begin the funnel. If they click on the "Sign up now" or the "Enter here" buttons, they are able to access a whole different universe of marketing through networks.

It is their decision. It's their decision. They have nothing to sell you except yourself as a leader and mentor and as someone who can help to increase leads for their business.

This is how a typical advertising funnel works.

To attract and qualify customers to your product To attract and qualify people to your products, you must offer them a freebie on the "front end". To receive your free product you must sign up (also known as opt-in), and provide your email address and name. In turn you'll add them to your email list.

Now, you have these contacts on your email and you can offer them similar promotions that may be of interest to them.

They will be taken to a page that offers a low-price offer or a trip wire deal right after they sign to receive the offer for free. This is where they move to the "back-end of the funnel."

If they buy the low-priced deal, they will be taken on to a second similar offer for a higher cost (normally called an "upsell"). A person who also purchases the lower priced offer will be taken to the next comparable product at a more expensive price. You can continue this process for many more.
