Major German hosting provider Hetzner said that using its servers to run cryptocurrency mining software violates the company's rules. The comment in the subreddit r/hetzner was noticed by Twitter users.
I know this is off topic, but if there are Hetzner customers who are using Ethereum, they should please read this: https://t.co/Lhlv3KAtUZ --Katie

"The use of our products for any application related to mining, even remotely, is not allowed. This includes Ethereum. Even if you just run one node, we will consider it a violation of our rules."
Previously, Messari analysts pointed out that Amazon Web Services, Hetzner and OVH account for 69% of Ethereum nodes out of 65% hosted in data centers. Solana has 72% of 95% of its nodes hosted by those same infrastructure players. Recall that Hetzner banned mining on its servers in 2021 after users began mining the cryptocurrency Chia with them.
