New Delhi [India]May 3 (ANI / Everstone): Pratibha Jain, Head of Nishith Desai Associates’ Delhi office, joins Everstone as Group General Counsel and Head of Corporate Affairs.

Pratibha Jain was the founder of the Nishith Desai Associates office in Delhi. She was the head of the M&A and private equity practice at NDA. Jain brings broad international and Indian experience to the table at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong, at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP in Hong Kong and at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong and Mumbai. Jain’s educational degrees include BA (Economics) Hons. and LL.B. Graduated from the University of Delhi, Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from University of Oxford and Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School.
Jain has worked on some of the most challenging projects in the financial services and regulatory sectors, including representing the Treasury Department for the structuring of India’s first quasi-sovereign wealth fund with a proposed corpus of over $ 6 billion and structuring the debt of the SWAMIH Fund – Government Amount of $ 3 billion plus blocked housing fund and listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Most recently, she advised foreign investors on their investments in Reliance Retail and Reliance Ventures.
Jain is the seventh generation Fellow of Ananta Aspen’s Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. She recently received the Woman Lawyer of the Year Award 2019 at the Global Legal Summit and the Legal Leaders Award 2019 organized by Business World magazine, and was named one of the best private equity lawyers by Forbes magazine.
