Amy Coney Barrett’s husband will proceed to work in a non-public follow regardless of moral considerations

– Jesse Barrett, the husband of recently confirmed Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett, in a statement posted on his law firm’s website. The spouses of other judges left the private practice after their chief significant partner was confirmed in the Supreme Court. Barrett, like his wife, did not practice before the US Supreme Court, which would be an “obvious” conflict of interest to Michael Frisch, an ethics advisor and associate professor at Georgetown Law.
