An unexpected biglaw salary match

Woohoo, the associates wage wars are really heating up! And in this iteration of the pay increases, we see some new players making early moves.

Mintz Levin, ranked 79th on the most recent Am Law 100 rankings with gross sales of $ 502,100,000, announced a raise for employees. The company matched the pay schedule set up by Milbank this morning.

The new salary scale will be as follows from July 1st:

Class salary
2020/21 $ 200,000

2019 $ 210,000

2018 $ 230,000

2017 $ 270,000

2016 $ 295,000

2015 $ 320,000

2014 $ 340,000

2013 $ 355,000

You can read the full email on the next page.

Like some of the other moving companies today, Mintz isn’t known for being quick with payroll withdrawals – it took the company nearly two months to get there in 2018. You really wonder what is different this timeā€¦.
