On the latest installment of the Jabot podcast, I chat with plaintiff’s attorney, Anabel Rosa, about her work in fighting Hispanic / Latin American causes in state and local governments. We talk about how former NYC Mayor David Dinkins inspired Anabel to study law, how her political work fits into her legal career, and why she recommends law school for those interested in social justice issues.
The Jabot podcast is an offshoot of the Above the Law brand that focuses on the challenges women, people of color, LGBTQIA and other diverse populations face in the legal industry. Our name comes from none other than the infamous Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the jabot (decorative collar) she wore when she delivered dissidents from the bank. It is a reminder that we are a powerful force to reckon with even when we do not win.
Have fun while listening!
