Lawsuit In opposition to Oracle for Allegedly Discriminatory Hiring Coverage

Klein, according to the Business Journal, found that Oracle's 14-member board has only one minority representative. There are no black executives.

The lawsuit is credible through earlier federal investigations. In 2017, the U.S. Department of Labor sued Oracle for wage differentials after finding that the company paid white men more than black, Asian, and female employees who held the same roles.

The Mercury News reports that the lawsuit alleges that adverse leadership and discriminatory hiring policies have caused Oracle "serious financial and reputational damage".

The lawsuit demands that Oracle's three directors, including Larry Ellison, leave the company and be replaced by a minority body.
