ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Prosecutor RJ Larizza plans to release an update on the Tristyn Bailey murder case on Thursday, his office said.
Prosecutors said they are in the final stages of a full fact, circumstance and law review and will post more details at St. John’s County Courthouse at 4:00 p.m.
“We appreciate the patience and support from family, friends, neighbors and everyone who has followed this worrying case,” said spokesman Bryan Shorstein in a press release.
Larizza plans to answer several questions about the case and talk about the other problems that have cropped up after Bailey’s death.
Aiden Fucci, the 14-year-old charged with second degree murder in the death of his 13-year-old schoolmate, is the sole suspect of her murder.
One of the questions people ask is whether Fucci will be charged as an adult or as a teenager.

Bailey’s body was found on Mother’s Day near a retention basin in a cul-de-sac in the Durbin Crossing subdivision, less than half a mile from Fucci’s home. The discovery was made by a neighbor who was walking around 6 p.m., about eight hours after Bailey’s family called 911 to report them missing.
