Republican lawmakers query Trump’s claims of electoral fraud – with out, in fact, mentioning his title

A sitting president who undermines our political process and questions the legitimacy of the voices of countless Americans without evidence is not only dangerous and wrong, but also undermines the very foundation on which this nation was built.

– Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX), in a tweet after President Donald Trump made remarks during a press conference last night making unsubstantiated claims of election fraud and election rigging in favor of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. Hurd is retiring at the end of his current term. MP Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) repeated these thoughts and tweeted: “We want every vote to be counted, yes every legal vote (of course). However, if you have legitimate concerns about fraud, bring EVIDENCE and take it to court. STOP the spread of exposed misinformation … This is going to be insane. “
