Trump threatens "Pretend Information Cartel" for reporting "COVID, COVID, COVID"

The President was very excited this morning. He tweeted ten times before noon, mostly against the media, for illegally reporting on the COVID epidemic.

We have made tremendous strides with the China virus, but the fake news refuses to talk about it so close to the election. COVID, COVID, COVID are being used by them in complete coordination to change our large numbers for early elections. Should be a violation of the electoral law!

How can it be “a violation of the electoral law” to report the increasing number of coronavirus infections? Who do the "fake news" coordinate with? And what “big numbers for early elections” would the president be referring to?

Trump accused the media, now a "cartel," of conspiring to hide his opponent's dementia.

Joe Biden called me George yesterday. I couldn't remember my name. I got help from the anchor to get him through the interview. The Fake News Cartel is working overtime to cover it up!

This comes from a type that consistently refers to "hydrosonic missiles" and "invisible" F-35s.

We are currently losing eight hundred American lives to coronavirus every day and he is still accusing the media of engaging in a conspiracy for writing about how we crossed the 80,000 positive daily test threshold.

“Cases because we TEST, TEST, TEST. A fake media conspiracy. Lots of young people who heal very quickly. 99.9%. Corrupt media conspiracy high at all times. On November 4th the topic will change completely. VOTE! "He yelled at 8:46 am. Followed by" The Fake News Media rides COVID, COVID, COVID to the polls. Losers! "At 8:58.

Here, last week, he accused a reporter of "being a criminal" for "failing to report" baseless allegations that Hunter Biden was whipped by his pro bono attorney and recently accused former campaign manager.

And in the 60-minute interview with Lesley Stahl, which he trampled out of defiance and published on Facebook, President Lesley Stahl angry because he did not print his factual claim that Barack Obama had "bugged his wires".

TRUMP: You spied on my campaign and got caught.

STAHL: Can I just say something? You know this is 60 minutes and we can't put on things that we can't check.

TRUMP: But you won't wear it because it's bad for Biden. Look, let me tell you

STAHL: We can't rely on things that we can't check …

TRUMP: Lesley, you spied on my campaign.

STAHL: We can't check that.

TRUMP: It has been fully checked.

TRUMP: That was it. Just go down and get the papers. You spied on my campaign. You got caught.

TRUMP: And then they went much further. Then they got caught. And you'll see that, Lesley. And you know that. But you just don't want to put it on the air.

Just go down (where?) And get the papers (which papers?).

We are getting the impression that the President does not fully understand the first amendment. This isn't exactly news four years after that waking nightmare, but it isn't a good sign if Trump gets another term in office.

He's already threatening to fire FBI Director Christopher Wray and even Attorney General Bill Barr for failing to put his political enemies on camera or even throwing a nice October Comey-style surprise. Four more years from now, there's a good chance he'll find someone like Josh Hawley or Ted Cruz to do his dirty work.

Yes, the constant ranting about doing LOCK HER UPS to your political opponents is kind of funny – like when your drunk uncle unites the family in eye rolls by spoiling the family with things he's seen on Infowars. But in a way, it really, really isn't. </ 43
