‘Frank will be missed, but never forgotten, by his lifetime friends and cumpares who shared those infamous Friday afternoons and evenings at the barber shop, Monday night card games, a good cognac, and a cigar (or two!)’
Long time local lawyer, Frank Falconi passed away peacefully at his home on August 24, having just celebrated his 81st birthday.
“All who knew Frank could attest to his zest for life, his commitment to family and friends, his love of the law, and his larger-than-life personality,” says his obituary. “The family will always recall his fondness for DQ banana splits, Chinese food, and hot peppers; family gatherings; the Jaguar; and, of course, frequent visits to the carousel and shopping trips are highlights for his grandchildren.

Falconi was a lawyer in North Bay for over 52 years and was often found working in the legal library just footsteps from his home.
He also served 25 years on the St. Joseph’s Hospital board as well the Davedi Club as both member and executive.

“Knowing Frank as we do, we are convinced that he is smiling down upon us with a shot of cognac in one hand, a cigar in the other, and a heavenly car in the background,” continues the obituary.
Following COVID protocols, a memorial mass to celebrate Frank’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption.
